DHS Foundation Scholarship

Overview: Inspired by Dr. Mason Todd Corder's care for his patients and passion for helping others enter the medical field, the DHS Foundation Scholarship recognizes and supports students who are continuing their studies in a healthcare-related field.
Geographic Scope
Eligible Counties: Randolph, Barbour, Tucker, Upshur, Webster, or Pocahontas County, West Virginia- Must have resided in West Virginia for at least four years prior to the date of the award
- Must merit recognition for training beyond the high school level
- Must be enrolled in a health-related post-secondary training program
- Eligible programs: two-year college, four-year college, or healthcare certification programs
- Consideration may be given to past recipients if merited
Eligibility Requirements
- Award Use: Made directly to the student to offset educational expenses (books, room, board, etc.)
- Frequency: One or more students may receive scholarships annually
