DEWALT Trades Scholarship (Canada) Grant

The DEWALT Trades Scholarship, offered by the SkillPointe Foundation, aims to support individuals pursuing education in high-demand trades such as construction, manufacturing, and technology. This scholarship assists with essential costs, including tuition, tools, and transportation. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary program and at least 17 years old. The initiative fosters skill development to help bridge the workforce gap in various industries across Canada.

This scholarship covers critical costs such as tuition, tools, credentialing, and transportation.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled in or accepted to a post-secondary school or training program and pursuing a high-demand skilled trade. Primary focus includes community colleges, vocational or technical institutions, career centers, dual enrollment programs, 2-year transitional programs. Applicants must also be seventeen (17) years of age or older at the time of application.Applicants must be pursuing courses, either for-credit or not-for-credit, at an approved community college, technical college or other training institution.
Eligible Locations: United States and Canada.

Ineligibility

Current employees, officers, directors and agents of Sponsor and its related companies and members of their immediate families (defined as spouse, parents, siblings and children) and persons residing at the same address are not eligible to win, unless stated otherwise. Previous winners of the SkillPointe Scholarship are not eligible. Void where prohibited.Employees and/or spouses or dependents of employees of Stanley Black & Decker or DEWALT are not eligible to apply.
