Administrator: Tennessee Home Builders Foundation through the Home Builders Association of Tennessee (HBAT)

Geographic Scope: Tennessee statewide; local matching funds available through Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga (HBAGC) for eligible students in the Chattanooga region

Program Type: Achievement-based, matching-funds scholarship

Program Description:
This scholarship is available to qualified Tennessee students who are enrolled in — or planning to enroll in — a one-year, two-year, four-year, or certificate program in a construction-related field of study. In addition to the statewide award, HBAGC provides local matching funds for sponsored students, meaning eligible students in the region may receive greater financial support.

Eligibility Requirements

• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Enrolled in (or have applied to) a construction-related program
• Must submit fully completed and signed application (no blanks)
• Must include all required transcripts and supporting documentation
• Must complete required essay
• Must secure sponsorship from a local Home Builders Association affiliate
