Description of Award The mission of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) is to advance the progress of medicine and improve the public's health by providing U.S. researchers, health professionals, public health workforce, educators, and the public with equal access to biomedical and health information resources and data. Background/Purpose The award’s primary aim is to focus on projects that support data science services or skills. Projects should focus on building capacity for data science services or data science skills. The projects will prioritize skill development for a broad range of users, focusing on building capacity in biomedical informatics and data science, creating a workforce skilled for data driven research and health. Projects should align in support of the NLM 2017-2027 Strategic Plan.
