Overview
The Data Science Services Project Award is a cost-reimbursable grant available exclusively to NNLM Region 1 member organizations. This award aims to enhance data science services and skills, supporting a diverse range of users in biomedical informatics. Projects should align with the NLM 2017-2027 Strategic Plan, prioritizing workforce development for data-driven health research. Preference is given to organizations that have not received funding during the 2021-2026 Cooperative Agreement.
Awards are cost-reimbursable and are issued to the institution, not the individual. Network member organizations in Region 1 are eligible to apply.
Background/Purpose
The award’s primary aim is to focus on projects that support data science services or skills. Projects should focus on building capacity for data science services or data science skills. The projects will prioritize skill development for a broad range of users, focusing on building capacity in biomedical informatics and data science, creating a workforce skilled for data driven research and health. Projects should align in support of the NLM 2017-2027 Strategic Plan.
