Data Fellowship Grant

The Data Fellowship by Delta Analytics offers a unique opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills in data science, engineering, or visualization to volunteer and empower nonprofits. Over a six-month commitment, participants dedicate 5-10 hours weekly to work closely with nonprofit organizations, leveraging data to drive impactful decisions. This fully remote fellowship fosters personal and professional growth while building a community of like-minded individuals passionate about using data for social good.

We are a non-profit data consulting organization based in San Francisco dedicated to empowering communities through data education and resources.
Our data fellows are paired with nonprofit grant recipients for 6 months to leverage data to drive impact. Data fellows volunteer their professional skills for good by helping nonprofits around the world accelerate their impact. Data fellows work in small teams with successful nonprofit grant recipients to answer interesting questions using data.
Commitment
Time expectations are 5-10 hours per week, with monthly cohort-wide Saturday working sessions.
This fellowship is a 6-month commitment that you make to your team. Our cohort cycle is typically January to June of each year.
As part of your volunteer experience with Delta, you will grow your technical, personal, and interpersonal skills. You will also be joining a community of like-minded, data-driven and passionate people, forming lifelong friends and connections.

Eligibility

Who you are:You have deep technical knowledge of data science, engineering, or data visualization and want to help the world.In your professional life, you might serve as an economic consultant, a data scientist, data analyst, or a software engineer at a technology firm. It's time to focus your efforts on bringing the best in data to the nonprofit world.
