Darke County Foundation Community Grant

The Darke County Foundation Community Grant supports local organizations that enhance the quality of life for Darke County residents. With awards ranging from $1,000 to $3,000, the Foundation aims to foster community projects, education, and social services by providing financial assistance to tax-exempt organizations and government entities. It encourages donations that fulfill charitable wishes, creating lasting impacts through scholarships and grants. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to improving health, education, and welfare.

The Darke County Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Darke County by receiving, managing and distributing charitable gifts for the benefit of local residents. The Foundation enriches areas such as education, the arts, social services, community projects, religious organizations, conservation and animal welfare.
Through donations by individuals, families, businesses and charitable organizations, the Darke County Foundation provides support for causes in which our donors strongly believe. By establishing funds that provide scholarships to local students and grants to local non-profit organizations, the Foundation helps fulfill our donors' charitable wishes, creating lasting legacies for years to come.
Funding
Approximately 35 organizations will receive awards from $1,000-$3,000.

Eligibility

Organizations must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt or government entity.Organizations must provide services that improve the health, education or welfare of Darke County residents.

Ineligibility

The following groups are not eligible:Organizations that limit their services to members of any one religious group. Organizations whose primary purpose is to influence legislation, political viewpoint, or promotion of a political candidate.
