Our History The Canadian Wildlife Federation is a national, not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to conserving Canada’s wildlife and habitats. Since its inception in 1962, the team at the Canadian Wildlife Federation has been spreading knowledge of human impacts on wildlife and the environment, carrying out actions to conserve and restore species and habitats, developing and delivering conservation education programs, advocating for changes to government policy and programs, and co-operating with like-minded partners. The aim has been and will always be to envision and have a hand at creating a future in which Canadians can live in harmony with nature. Purpose of the Scholarship The purpose of the Wildlife Research in Northern Manitoba and Canadian Central Arctic Scholarship is to provide financial assistance, based on the established criteria and academic performance, to support research students who are Canadian citizens, refugees, or permanent residents of Canada.
