Cure JM: Mental Health Grants

Cure JM is committed to enhancing mental health care for children with juvenile myositis through its 2025 grant program. The foundation invites proposals for grants up to $45K per year for two years, emphasizing multi-center collaborations. Eligible applicants must hold a Ph.D. or M.D. and work within accredited institutions. The initiative aims to support innovative research and clinical interventions that improve mental health outcomes for affected families.

In furthering our mission of integrating mental health into pediatric rheumatology care, Cure JM will once again be funding mental health grants.
Cure JM Mental Health Large Grant - Request for Proposals
The Cure JM Foundation (Cure JM) announces its Request for Proposals for 2025 for advancing mental health to improve the lives of children and families living with juvenile myositis.
Approximately 2 to 4 children in a million in the United States are diagnosed with JM each year.
In 2025, Cure JM has committed to funding a mental health grant up to $45K/year for up to 2 years with a preference for a multi-center collaboration.

Eligibility

Grantees may be US or internationally based.Applicants must hold a Ph. D. or M.D. degree or equivalent and work in an accredited medical school, university, hospital, or research institute, which must agree to supply the clinical and/or laboratory facilities. The foundation strongly encourages collaborations from two or more institutions that bring together a spectrum of expertise.Award funding may be used for salary support, consumable supplies, equipment, travel (< $1500), and other items necessary to conduct the proposed research.Grant applications are called for across programs relating to all aspects of; basic research, clinical trials, translational studies, diagnosis, and clinical care of juvenile myositis
