CT Youth Employment Program

A short-term summer work experience program for eligible youth aged 14-24 years old in the Eastern Connecticut region.

Geographic Scope: Eastern Connecticut, including:

• Willimantic labor market
• Danielson labor market
• Norwich labor market
• New London labor market

Program Details:

• Duration: Approximately 5 weeks during summer
• Hours: 15-25 hours per week
• Compensation: Minimum wage
• Focus: Employment opportunity linking work and school; learning-rich job experience with evaluation during placement

Eligible Participants:

• Youth aged 14-24 years old
• Must reside in Eastern Connecticut region
