Overview

CRNA Scholars (Post-Doctoral/Doctoral CRNAs for Research and/or Clinical Projects)

One of the goals of the AANA Foundation is to support new and seasoned investigators in nurse anesthesia through research and/or clinical doctoral/post-doctoral CRNA Scholars. This program is designed to develop researchers in nurse anesthesia.

CRNA Scholar funding opportunities are available to CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists currently enrolled in an educational program. The applicant must be the individual using the funds for the project, and must discuss the research’s relevance to the mission of the AANA Foundation.

Research Topics

The AANA Foundation sets a broad research agenda that includes the following areas:
