Corporate Giving Program: Requests under $1000 Grant

The Corporate Giving Program by the Franklin P. and Arthur W. Perdue Foundation focuses on supporting nonprofit organizations within specific states. They prioritize initiatives that enhance community welfare, especially in agriculture, education, health, and environmental sustainability. Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status to apply, and preference is given to those involving Perdue associates. Ineligible requests include those from religious, political, or individual-focused groups. This program emphasizes broad community benefits over organizational affiliations.

NOTE: Perdue Farms states in their guidelines that they "... may give additional preference to organizations in which [their] associates have direct involvement, but the overarching consideration is the betterment of the community." However, please note in their online form if you select  "No" when answering the question "Is this grant request endorsed by a Perdue Associate?", you will be considered ineligible for a grant.

A letter of endorsement from a Perdue associate is required to be included in any application submitted for consideration.

Eligibility

Our contributions are limited to programs and events that are nonprofit and tax exempt.We can consider requests only from organizations that have IRS 501(c)(3) statusWhere we provide support:We will consider requests from organizations in the states of California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Quebec - Canada, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

Ineligibility

So that we can focus on these objectives, we are unable to consider requests:From service, fraternal or veterans organizationsFrom churches or organizations associated with particular religious denominationsFrom political action or lobbying groupsTo aid a single individual or familyTo sponsor an individual or teamTo support a participatory fund-raising event, such as a team walk, golf tournament or banquet
