Overview

Cornelius G. Dyke Award

Purpose: Honors Cornelius G. Dyke, one of the pioneers in Neuroradiology. Awarded for excellence as demonstrated in a paper representing original, unpublished research in some aspect of Neuroradiology.

Eligibility:

  • Assistant professor, fellow, or resident

  • Paper must represent original, unpublished research in neuroradiology

  • Submissions must be in some aspect of neuroradiology (head, neck, central nervous system, functional imaging, anatomy, pediatrics, or spine)
  • Award Includes:

  • $500 honorarium

  • Invitation to the President's Gala at the 64th Annual Meeting in 2026

  • Invitation to present the work at the 64th Annual Meeting in 2026 as scheduled by the program committee

  • Complimentary registration for the 64th Annual Meeting in Austin

  • Promotion at 64th annual meeting via ASNR eNews and posting on the ASNR website

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    1. Submit a Scientific Oral abstract electronically via the Abstract Submission site
    2. Abstract deadline: Wednesday, November 5, 2025 (11:59 PM EST)
    3. Abstract submission stage: No manuscript should be submitted at this stage
    4. Manuscript submission: Following review of abstracts, the ASNR office will request a manuscript for the highest-ranking abstracts. Top scored abstracts are asked to submit a full manuscript between January and February 2026 to be eligible for this award.
