Description The Congresswoman Shontel Brown Cross the Finish Line Scholarship was created in 2023 to recognize the tremendous contributions of United States Representatives Louis Stokes, Stephanie Tubbs Jones, and Marcia Fudge - and to support current residents of Ohio's 11th United States Congressional District who are crossing their own finish lines and attaining their postsecondary educational degrees. A total of three scholarships will be awarded in honor of Representatives Louis Stokes, Stephanie Tubbs Jones, and Marcia Fudge. Award amount is $2,000 for the 2025/2026 academic year. Please note that this amount is based on the assumption that students will be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more credit hours) for both fall and spring semesters. The award will be spilt in half between fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to your academic institution starting in the Fall 2025 term. This scholarship is not renewable. Previous recipients who still meet eligibility criteria may apply and will be evaluated along with new applicants.Eligibility
