Overview
The Community Shopping Days Grant supports local nonprofits and organizations in Bellingham and Whatcom County by providing 2% of combined sales from Co-op locations on designated shopping days. Eligible groups focus on areas such as food sustainability, social justice, and community development. This initiative promotes equity and inclusion while fostering community engagement. Applications for the 2026 program are now being accepted, with priority given to organizations that have not received funding in the past two years.
The Co-op is now accepting applications from local community groups for the 2026 Community Shopping Days (CSD) program. Organizations that received a CSD for 2024 or 2025 will not be considered for an award this year.
