Community Security Grants

Application & Post-Award Process

1. Grant Proposal Submission:
- Submit detailed grant proposal
- No funds distributed until proposal is submitted
- Budget must be included

2. Fund Usage:
- Grant funds may only be used as described in the budget

3. Post-Award Requirements:
- Foundation provides oversight for duration of grant project
- May include site visits and liaison appointments
- Awardee must inform membership and community of funding receipt
- All public relations materials must include reference to Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven and note grant is in memory of Arthur and Yvette Eder

4. Final Report:
- Due within 60 days of grant completion
- Board President must sign off
- Foundation will work with grantee to determine best documentation methods

5. Ongoing Support:
- Grantees welcome to seek advice and feedback at any time
- Foundation available to assist if problems arise or goals cannot be met
