Community Security Grants

Grants made in memory of Arthur and Yvette Eder for community security initiatives.

Geographic Scope: Greater New Haven, Connecticut

Funding Source: Established in memory of Arthur and Yvette Eder

Grant Requirements:

• Public relations materials must reference the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven
• Public relations materials must note grant is made in memory of Arthur and Yvette Eder
• Grantee organization must inform membership and community of receipt of funding
• Final report due within 60 days of grant completion
• Foundation will provide oversight including possible site visits and liaison appointments
• Board President must sign off on Final Report

Application & Post-Award Process

1. Grant Proposal Submission:
   • Submit detailed grant proposal
   • No funds distributed until proposal is submitted
   • Budget must be included
2. Fund Usage:
   • Grant funds may only be used as described in the budget
3. Post-Award Requirements:
   • Foundation provides oversight for duration of grant project
   • May include site visits and liaison appointments
   • Awardee must inform membership and community of funding receipt
   • All public relations materials must include reference to Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven and note grant is in memory of Arthur and Yvette Eder
4. Final Report:
   • Due within 60 days of grant completion
   • Board President must sign off
   • Foundation will work with grantee to determine best documentation methods
5. Ongoing Support:
   • Grantees welcome to seek advice and feedback at any time
   • Foundation available to assist if problems arise or goals cannot be met
