Program Overview

The Community Relief Fund was created to assist non-profit social service organizations in White, Jasper, or Pulaski counties experiencing the immediate physical, social, and economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund distributed over $436,438 to nonprofits in the region.

Focus Areas

• Food security and nutrition programs
• Child care and early education
• Mental health services and support
• Youth development and programming
• Basic needs assistance (utilities, housing)
• Organizational adaptation to pandemic conditions (technology, online programming)
• Transportation services

Eligibility

• Non-profit social service organizations serving White, Jasper, or Pulaski counties
• Organizations with 501(c)(3) status preferred (organizations with other designations must call before applying)
• Organizations suffering immediate physical, social, and economic effects of COVID-19 pandemic

Application Review Process

• Applications reviewed monthly by an advisory board
• Board comprised of members from each county community and leaders from partner organizations
• Competitive application process
