Overview: Swift Charities supports the communities where the company lives and works by providing grants to worthy nonprofit (tax exempt) organizations.

Purpose

Empowering organizations to build healthier and happier communities.

Eligibility

• Applicant Type: Tax-exempt nonprofit organizations
• Geographic Scope: Communities where Swift Transportation operates (locations include: Albuquerque NM, Atlanta GA, Columbus OH, Denver CO, Detroit MI, Edwardsville KS, El Paso TX, Gary IN, Greer SC, Houston TX, Jonestown PA, Jurupa Valley CA, Lancaster TX, Laredo TX, Lathrop CA, Lewiston ID, Memphis TN, Mobile AL, Las Vegas NV, Ocala FL, Oklahoma City OK, Otay Mesa CA, Phoenix AZ, Richmond VA, Sparks NV, Statesboro GA, Sumner WA, Syracuse NY, Troutdale OR, West Valley City UT)

Process

Swift employees are encouraged to: 1. Engage in volunteer opportunities with nonprofit organizations 2. Recommend worthy nonprofit organizations for grants 3. Submit grant requests

Review Process:

Community Grant requests are reviewed monthly by a volunteer committee

Approval and grant amounts are determined based on information received and the organization's positive community impact
