Community Grants

The Marshfield Area Community Foundation offers community grants to support non-profit organizations in their service area.

Geographic Scope: Marshfield Area Community Foundation service area (Wisconsin)

Focus Areas:

• Community needs identified through collaboration with local organizations
• Children and youth programs
• Food and basic needs assistance
• Mental health and wellness initiatives

Key Information:

• The Grants Committee meets quarterly
• The Foundation committed $6,000 from Forward Bank CMMA donation and $20,000 from Forever Fund (as of 2022)
• Application process has been simplified to help get funding to area nonprofits
• The Foundation maintains awareness of community needs through participation in groups such as:
  • Healthy Aging through Aging and Disability Resource Center
  • United 4 Community Wellness
  • The Center for Inclusive Excellence at UWSP-Marshfield
  • Marshfield Area United Way Allocations Committee
  • Council on Foundations' Rural Roundtable
