Overview

NCDHHS’ Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services gives grants to organizations that support the needs of North Carolinians affected by mental health needs, substance use, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or traumatic brain injury. The division funds work that includes: Prevention Treatment Services Supports Community Based Substance Use Disorders Services Access The purpose of this RFA is to help expand access to relevant services and supports across the state of North Carolina that address documented gaps in access. This initiative aims to address the causes of the uneven distribution of the success of substance use disorder programming across the state to build a system of care that meets each North Carolinian’s specific needs. Funding Awards: DMHDDSUS intends to award at least 12 contracts to eligible applicants. Project Budgets up to $500,000 annually will be considered.
