Come Back for More in Fall 24 Scholarship

Overview: This scholarship program provides financial assistance to eligible students who have earned college credits but have not yet completed a degree at Cameron University.

Funding Source: The program is funded through the Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER II) Fund, sourced from reverted Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools (EANS) funds from the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, distributed through the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Federal funding in the amount of $725,111.92 (100% of total cost).

Geographic Scope: Oklahoma residents only

Eligibility Criteria:

20 years old or older

Never attended college OR dropped out of college for at least one semester

Resident of Oklahoma and a U.S. citizen

Earned a GPA of at least 2.0

Must be enrolled in fall for a minimum of 3 hours (priority given to those enrolled in 6+ hours)

Priority given to degree plans associated with Oklahoma's 100 Critical Occupations (as compiled by Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education)
