Colorado Wildlife Rehabilitation Grants Wildlife Rehabilitation Grants are a program offered by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to support wildlife rehabilitation efforts across the state. Applicants must be a wildlife rehabilitator currently licensed by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.Grant funds can only be used for species authorized under the applicable wildlife rehabilitation license. The following lists examples of activities eligible for funding through the Wildlife Rehabilitation Grants Program. Other activities may be considered by the Board. Applicants are encouraged to check with the program coordinator for eligibility of activities not listed below.Eligible Activities:Food for species rehabilitated at the facilityUpgrade or repair facility infrastructureFacility operation and maintenanceUpgraded, expanded or new rehabilitation structures (e.g. enclosures, flight cages) at existing licensed facilitiesVeterinary or medical expensesTraining for facility staff or volunteersPublic education and outreach on animal rehabilitation, and resolving human-wildlife conflictsMatching funds are not required.Ineligibility
