Montana State University was founded February 16, 1893, as one of the nation's original land-grant colleges authorized by the landmark Morrill Act of 1862. College and Departmental Scholarships Some of the colleges and departments at Montana State University offer scholarships to students. A limited number are available for incoming students. College of Business DECA Scholarship Required Qualifications: Enrolled to pursue a degree from the Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship; Incoming freshman enrolled to attend MSU the fall semester immediately following high school graduation; Active member of DECA at time of application; Montana high school graduate; Minimum 3.25 high school GPA; Enrolled as a full-time student at MSU. Additional Award Information: Recipients are selected the spring semester of their graduating senior year of high school. Half of the scholarship will be awarded for the fall semester. If the recipient achieves a minimum of a 2.75 cumulative GPA after their fall semester, the second half of the scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester. The scholarship cannot be carried over if the recipient elects not to return spring semester or transfers to another college/curriculum at MSU. Scopes: BusinessEligibility
