Reducing Derailment Risk for Decarbonization

• Support for efforts to reduce systemic risks that could derail climate progress
• Neglected levers of decarbonization (superpollutant emissions, durable carbon removal)
• Addressing systemic risks including:
- Impacts of climate change (disasters, refugee crises) that reduce capacity or political will - Cuts to innovation funding for clean technologies - Political polarization of climate action

Increasing Public Understanding of Emergency Climate Interventions

• Scientific research and public engagement on emergency climate interventions
• Sunlight Reflection Methods (SRM) research
• Approaches to stabilize Antarctic glaciers or sea ice
• Work in the Global South to ensure diverse expertise

Fiscally sponsored projects and international charitable organizations
