Overview

The Patrick Leahy Lake Champlain Basin Program (“LCBP”), in coordination with the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (“NEIWPCC”), is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for project that will directly support the Clean Water goals of Opportunities for Action: An Evolving Plan for the Future of the Lake Champlain Basin through on-the-ground implementation of water quality improvement projects in the Lake Champlain Basin. The intent of this funding opportunity is to advance water quality projects in the Lake Champlain basin to reduce pollution to Lake Champlain by supporting planning and implementation projects. Approximately $680,000 in funding is available to support awarded projects. Grant request limits vary by grant category and are listed in the grant categories table below. One proposal may be submitted per eligible organization or entity per grant category. LCBP anticipates granting multiple awards from this RFP. This grant opportunity is supported by funds awarded to NEIWPCC by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on behalf of the Lake Champlain Basin Program, and in partnership with the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. Partial funding of total application requests may be awarded if agreeable to the applicant. All awards aresubject to funding availability. Clean water – Small Grants for Implementation Projects that will improve water quality and directly result in the reduction of water pollution in the Lake Champlain Basin.
