Class Act Program

Status: Active

Geographic Scope: Schools around the world, including homeschool programs

Focus Areas: Student acts of kindness in the following categories:

  • Eligibility:

  • High school level and under

  • Individual students, clubs, classrooms, or whole grade levels

  • Traditional schools and homeschool programs

  • Project can be completed over a day or a semester
  • Overview: The Class Act Program encourages students to come together to perform acts of kindness that make a difference in their community. Past winners have led efforts to conserve local wetlands, created kindness quilts, and operated "kindness stations" serving their community. Winners receive a trophy and cash prize.

    Award: $6,000 USD or equal amount in local currency denomination. Recipients may choose to receive funds directly to their school or donate to a nonprofit organization of their choice.
