Overview

Citizens Energy Group Philanthropic Partnerships Citizens Energy Group wants to thoughtfully grant financial support to organizations which are providing important value to our community and which are aligned with Citizens’ environmental, business, or community sustainability goals —themselves modeled after the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG). Our Philanthropic Partnerships review team will evaluate each funding application, specifically prioritizing proposals which demonstrate that they serve Citizens’ customers/communities and add value in these various categories: Basic Human Needs Addressing poverty, hunger, health, etc Education Addressing quality training for youth and adults Inclusion Addressing equality, equity, and violence prevention. Environment Addressing water quality, conservation, ecology, and climate action. Economic Development Addressing work readiness, industry innovation, and community sustainability. Cultural Institutions Addressing culture-making and community partnerships which support the other categories.
