Citizens Energy Group Philanthropic Partnerships Grant

Citizens Energy Group Philanthropic Partnerships aims to support organizations that provide significant value to the community while aligning with environmental, business, and community sustainability goals. The funding prioritizes projects that address critical areas such as basic human needs, education, inclusion, environmental conservation, economic development, and cultural institutions. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving the Greater Indianapolis area, committed to non-discrimination, and have a history of impactful community contributions.

Citizens Energy Group wants to thoughtfully grant financial support to organizations which are providing important value to our community and which are aligned with Citizens’ environmental, business, or community sustainability goals —themselves modeled after the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG). Our Philanthropic Partnerships review team will evaluate each funding application, specifically prioritizing proposals which demonstrate that they serve Citizens’ customers/communities and add value in these various categories:

• Basic Human Needs
• Addressing poverty, hunger, health, etc
• Education
• Addressing quality training for youth and adults
• Inclusion
• Addressing equality, equity, and violence prevention.
• Environment
• Addressing water quality, conservation, ecology, and climate action.
• Economic Development
• Addressing work readiness, industry innovation, and community sustainability.
• Cultural Institutions
• Addressing culture-making and community partnerships which support the other categories.

Eligibility

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit Organization.Provide services in the Greater Indianapolis area.Does not discriminate in hiring or provision of services.
