ChildTrust Foundation: Program Grants

The ChildTrust Foundation offers program grants aimed at enhancing early education and literacy in North Carolina. Focused on supporting organizations that serve young children and their families, the foundation prioritizes equity for historically underserved communities. By fostering collaboration and building capacity within the sector, it seeks to amplify the impact of its funding. Grants are directed towards 501(c)3 organizations, emphasizing inclusive practices in early childhood education.

Our grantmaking goes beyond financial gifts to include collaboration, networking and capacity building to ensure greater success. We also partner with Invest Early NC, a network of early childhood funders, which allows us to increase our reach and impact through co-funded efforts.

Eligibility

We provide grants to 501(c)3 organizations operating in North Carolina and in alignment with IMC’s non-discrimination policy.

Ineligibility

We typically do not provide funds directly to individual schools.
