Scholarship for Children of Active-Duty, Retired or Active Reserve Coast Guard Commissioned Officers
This application is intended for first-time applicants only.
Coast Guard and their families.
If you are the child of an active duty or retired Coast Guard commissioned officer you are eligible to apply.
When we began the scholarship program in 1990, we focused on one goal — providing Coast Guard families the opportunity to send their children to college.

Eligibility

Eligible Students:
Unmarried dependent children of active duty, retired or deceased U.S. Coast Guard members that are:
Coast Guard OfficersChief Warrant OfficersCoast Guard Reserve currently on extended active duty 180 days or more.Students applying to college or currently in college may apply if working towards their first undergraduate degree program, are listed in Coast Guard DEERS, and are under the age of 24 when applying.
Applicants must be a college bound high school senior entering an accredited college or technical school for the fall semester of this year or a full-time undergraduate student already enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program or trade/technical school for the fall semester of this year. If currently attending college, college transcripts must be submitted.

Ineligibility

Coast Guard Spouses.
Active duty Coast Guard members.
Applicants pursuing a second undergraduate degree, masters or doctorate program of study.
Applicants pursuing a degree at an unaccredited institution.
