ChikChok (Fast Track) Grants

Mission: Enhance the lives of elders in the Jewish community of greater Portland by supporting their social, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Geographic Scope: Greater Portland, Oregon area; Cedar Sinai Park campus and off-campus settings

• Community organizations that currently offer or historically provided meaningful and enriching services for elders on the Cedar Sinai Park campus
• Community organizations that currently offer or historically provided meaningful and enriching services for elders in off-campus settings
• Programs addressing:
  • Social gatherings and community building
  • Transportation
  • Inter-generational programming
  • Programming accessibility, consistency, and choices
  • Cross-collaboration among organizations
  • Programming that addresses elders' social, spiritual and health needs
  • Financial assistance for under-resourced elders

Background: Named for Hannah Robison, whose sons provided funding for the nursing facility. Foundation expects to allocate $1.5 million annually within 1-2 years.
