Overview: A four-year full academic scholarship program for high school seniors who stutter, created by NBA veteran Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. The program provides comprehensive financial support and additional resources to empower students to pursue their dreams.
Mission & Background
Founded in 2021, Change & Impact is a 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID: 86-3735778) dedicated to improving access to healthcare and expanding services and resources for those who stutter. The scholarship was inspired by founder Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's personal journey as a basketball player and person who stutters.- Full tuition for four academic school years ($20,000-$40,000 per year)
- Room and board ($8,000-$16,000 per year)
- Books ($250-$500 per semester)
- Meal plans ($2,500-$4,500 per semester)
