CGEMC Powering the Future Scholarship

An annual scholarship awarded by Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation to support undergraduate students in their educational goals. The CGEMC finalist for the Walter Harrison Scholarship is also automatically awarded the Powering the Future Scholarship.

Eligibility

• Same eligibility criteria as the Walter Harrison Scholarship
• Primary residence must be in the household of a Central Georgia EMC member (electric customer) or a CGEMC employee
• Applicants must be undergraduates (graduating high school seniors and students already enrolled in college or vocational-technical schools are eligible)

Geographic Scope

• Central Georgia EMC service area members

Award Use

• Usable at any accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical institute in Georgia
