CFSI: Community Assist Grants

The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana offers Community Assist Grants to support projects that positively impact local communities in Clark and Floyd Counties. These grants provide funding between $1,000 and $5,000 for nonprofits engaged in community service. Organizations must be 501(c)(3) public charities in good standing to be eligible. The program aligns with the community's identified needs and encourages sustainable charitable efforts, ensuring donations create lasting benefits.

The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana’s Community Assist Grants fund small requests to support projects, programs, or activities that will positively impact the community served by the nonprofit.
The year-round program is intended to serve nonprofits in both Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana, with one-time funding requests between $1,000 – $5,000 accepted quarterly.

Eligibility

Organizations that:
Are a 501c(3) public charity in good standing with the IRS, or charitable projects that are fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) public charity in good standing with the IRS.Serve Clark and/or Floyd Counties in Indiana.Organizations that have received grants through other CFSI competitive grant programs within the last 12 months are eligible to apply for this program so long as they are in good standing and compliant with their current grant agreement and reporting requirements.
