Membership in PTA is open to anyone who supports the PTA mission and wants to be involved and make a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children and youth. 2025-2026 Center for Family Engagement Healthy Minds Fellowship National PTA invites PTA leaders committed to supporting mental health efforts in school communities to apply for the Center for Family Engagement Healthy Minds Fellowship—a 12-month cohort beginning January 2026 for PTA leaders to expand mental health knowledge and leadership. Five fellows receive $1,500 stipend. The fellows will use the learning they gain in the fellowship to: Co-develop and implement an action plan around a problem of practice related to mental health and document progress throughout the fellowship.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Healthy Minds initiative by helping to improve mental health, wellness and the Healthy Minds program.Conduct train-the-trainer Healthy Minds initiative workshops to PTA audiences.
