Centenary United Methodist Church Scholarship Grant

The Centenary United Methodist Church Scholarship, managed by the Beatrice Educational Foundation, offers financial support to members pursuing higher education. Established in 1987, the foundation has awarded over $55,000 annually in scholarships. Recipients must be full-time students and maintain academic standing to receive funding. Proof of registration from their institution is required before disbursement. This scholarship aims to enrich educational opportunities for Beatrice High School graduates.

The Foundation’s purpose is to provide a permanent source of financial support for the expansion and enrichment of learning opportunities for the Beatrice School District.
The Foundation manages a $3.8 million Endowment Fund and awards over $55,000 each year in scholarships to Beatrice High School graduating seniors.
The Centenary United Methodist Church Scholarship provides one year grants for students that are Centenary United Methodist members attending institutions of higher education. Grants will be paid to the student by the semester or by the school term.

Eligibility

The following items will be taken into account in the selection of the recipients:Students must show proof of registration from their college or trade school before payment is made.Financial need is not necessarily a requirement to earn these scholarships.Student must be a full-time student of college or institution.Student must be in academic good standing after first semester to maintain the scholarship.Proof of standing will be required before second payment is made.Participation in church activities will be considered.
