Program Overview:
The Tuition Assistance Fund supports family child care providers in reaching their professional development goals related to higher education and their work as family childcare providers.

Eligibility:

• Must be a family child care provider in California
• Must have served a child receiving subsidies within the last twelve months
• Eligible to receive funding each calendar year

What the Funding Covers:
Funding can be used for:

• Pursuing degrees
• Continuing education
• ESL courses
• GED courses
• Computer courses

Focus Areas:

• Racial justice and equity (supporting Black, Indigenous, Latine, AAPI, and other communities of color)
• Language justice
• Support for family child care providers in underserved California communities
