CAVE Scholarship Program

Geographic Scope: Colorado

Program Description: CAVE annually awards numerous scholarships to current members seeking to further their education in enology, viticulture, or curriculum with an emphasis in the wine and grape industry. The awards are not in predetermined amounts and may vary from year to year.

• Award amounts: Variable year to year, not predetermined
• Application period: October through March annually
• Non-discrimination: CAVE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, religion, or gender
• Reapplication: Previous applicants and recipients are eligible to reapply each year in open competition with new applicants
• Board discretion: All scholarship recommendations made by the Scholarship Committee are subject to final approval by the CAVE Board of Directors
• Reservation of right: CAVE reserves the right not to award scholarships at all in any given year

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a current CAVE member OR a student currently enrolled in viticulture or enology programs
• Must complete the application form completely (incomplete applications will not be considered)
• Current CAVE Board Members and staff may NOT apply

Application Process

1. Application Period: Apply between October and March
2. Application Form: Complete the scholarship application form in its entirety
3. Submission: Submit application by the March 2nd deadline
4. Review: Applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee
5. Approval: All scholarship recommendations are subject to final approval by the CAVE Board of Directors
