Cathy E. Harris Good Samaritan Scholarship Grant

The Cathy E. Harris Good Samaritan Scholarship, established by the Parkview Health Foundation, honors Cathy Harris, a dedicated former Director of Parkview Samaritan. This scholarship supports Parkview co-workers pursuing Basic EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic certification, emphasizing the foundation's commitment to enhancing healthcare education and community service.

The Cathy E. Harris Good Samaritan Scholarship was established in honor of Cathy Harris, former Director of Parkview Samaritan. Before her retirement in 2013, Cathy devoted 24 years of service to Parkview’s Flight and Trauma program. Cathy played a key role in the growth, development, and vision of what the program is today.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to all eligible Parkview co-workers who are pursuing their Basic EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification.
