Cathey Family Scholarship Fund
Funder: Jim Cathey (Linfield, Delta Rho '83), Chief Commercial Officer of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
Named in honor of: Jim and his brother David, who were members of the Delta Rho chapter at Linfield University, and their parents Janice and Dave Cathey, Sr.
Geographic Scope: Linfield University (Delta Rho chapter)
Purpose: Provides tuition assistance for undergraduates to help cover the increasing cost of higher education. Specifically designed to support Pi Kappa Alpha members who compete in varsity athletics at a Division 3 school where scholarship support for athletes is not available.
- Full-time student in good standing with Linfield University
- In good standing with the Delta Rho chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha

- Students studying in STEM fields
- Students with community involvement using technology or innovation for social good
- Varsity student football players
- Varsity student athletes
