CASL Scholarship Fund in Memory of Lane Meyer Grant

The CASL Scholarship Fund in Memory of Lane Meyer, managed by the North Carolina Community Foundation, awards scholarships to high school seniors actively participating in the Capital Area Soccer League at the Challenge Level or above. Applicants are evaluated on their academic excellence, soccer skills, sportsmanship, and community involvement, reflecting the values exemplified by Lane Meyer. This scholarship supports high school seniors who are current participants in the Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) at the Challenge Level or above. Eligible applicants must exemplify Lane Meyer’s legacy of excellence in academics, soccer performance, sportsmanship, friendships, and meaningful involvement in school and community activities. Recipients should demonstrate leadership and the ability to build team spirit and positive influence on the athletic field, reflecting the character and passion Lane displayed as a CASL player.
