Established in memory of Carol Krumwiede, who passed away in 2018. Carol was an educator for over 27 years and served the FTA for over 40 years alongside her husband, Louie. She held positions as FTA Secretary and Treasurer for over 15 years, received the FTA Distinguished and Meritorious Service Awards four times, and was inducted into the FTA Hall of Fame in 2012. At the time of her death, she was writing a column summarizing the organization's 50-year history.
