Eligibility:

• Applicant types: Individual researchers, Research institutions, Nonprofit organizations, or other entities
• Projects must be novel with high potential for medical breakthrough

• GAC funds are not used for administrative purposes or patient care

Selection Criteria: GAC considers the following factors:

• Research Focus: Aimed at finding a cure for cancer (not administrative or patient care)
• Innovation: Project is novel and offers high potential for medical breakthrough
• Operational Leverage: Results have potential to be replicated to other cancer types and affect large numbers of cancer patients
• Financial Leverage: Matching funds are available to multiply financial impact; successful execution could draw significant additional funding (e.g., NIH, corporate funding)
