Building Hope Award

Overview: Part of the Beyond Homes Scholarship Program, a donor-funded initiative to support youth and young adults in achieving long-term economic mobility through housing and access to education.

Geographic Scope: Properties owned by Abode Communities (California, US)

Award Details:

  • Amount: $2,500 per year, renewable up to four years

  • Maximum Award: $10,000

  • Use of Funds: Awards made directly to the institution and can be used to pay for tuition, books, supplies, and living expenses
  • Eligibility:

  • Age: 17-28 years old

  • High school graduation status: Graduating high school senior

  • Minimum GPA: 3.5

  • Enrollment: Enrolled or planning to attend a two or four-year university, college, vocational, or certificate program

  • If attending community college, award is renewable upon transition to an accredited four-year institution

  • Must reside at a property owned by Abode Communities

    Application Process
