Building Bright Futures: Education GCF is excited about our bold new vision for Education partnerships and this inaugural Building Bright Futures grant cycle launch. Funding Focus Every child deserves a bright future where they are empowered to succeed and thrive. Meaningful change in student outcomes to realize this future will require innovative and evidence-based solutions. Applications should explicitly address how your organization supports work to ensure every child and young adult is cultivating a future of limitless potential. Use of Funds Funding may be used to support efforts to launch a new program, expand or strengthen existing programs, enact capital improvements, build organizational capacity, or for general operating support.

Eligibility

Who Should Apply:Organizations serving children and young adults (PK-12) through a variety of programs offered at any time of the year.Eligible programs will foster academic success and opportunity through mentoring, tutoring, socio-emotional development (SEL), college & career exploration, and overall academic improvement to help every young person thrive and create a future of limitless potential.Applicants must be classified as tax-exempt by the IRS, typically 501(c)(3) status or government agency. If your organization is not a 501(c (3), you may use a fiscal agent, but it must be identified in the application.Grants will be made to organizations whose work is based in the Greater Cincinnati region, comprised of the following counties: Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Kenton and Campbell in Kentucky and Dearborn in Indiana.

Ineligibility

Funding will not be awarded for campaigns or special events.
