Summary

The Bryan Area Foundation Grant Program supports tax-exempt organizations that enhance life in Williams County. Established in 1969, the Foundation has invested over $13.4 million in community projects and scholarships. Applicants must schedule a meeting with the Foundation's President/CEO 30 days prior to the grant deadline. The Foundation favors innovative proposals that address emerging needs and promote community involvement while avoiding funding for operating expenses and projects already in progress.

Note: It is required that all applicants schedule a meeting with the Bryan Area Foundation President/CEO at least 30 days in advance of the grant deadline. These are the "Pre Proposal" deadlines above. The Bryan Area Foundation and its affiliate Foundations, Edon, Montpelier and Millcreek-West Unity, are dedicated to improving and enriching life in Williams County by connecting people, good ideas, real needs and charitable resources. Since 1969, the Foundation has contributed over $21.2 million to worthy community projects and scholarships that enhance the communities and residents we serve.

Ineligibility

The Bryan Area Foundation normally does not fund:Operating expenses, including salaries, utilities, and annual campaignsProjects that promote any specific religion or beliefsBudget deficits or debt reductionLobbying and/or political activityEndowment fundsCapital improvements to buildings and property not owned by the organization or covered by a long-term leaseWork or projects that are already underway or have been completedGrants to organizations that have received a BAF grant for the same or a similar project in the last 12 months
