Bristol Bay Foundation: Higher Education Scholarship Program Grant

The Bristol Bay Foundation offers a Higher Education Scholarship Program supporting both full-time and part-time students pursuing 4-year or advanced degrees. Eligible applicants must be shareholders of the BBNC or their descendants, have a high school diploma or GED, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. Scholarships are based on academic performance and life experiences, with applications due in April for the next academic year.

There are 32 communities with a population of roughly 7,500, of which 3,918 are Bristol Bay Native Corporation shareholders.
The richness of the cultural heritage of Bristol Bay cannot be overstated. These intergenerational connections led to an array of cultural practices including art and adornment, dance, language, medicine, spiritual and those of daily living.
Higher Education Scholarship Program supports 4-year or advanced degree programs for Full- and Part-Time students. Awards based on academic standing, leadership, and life experiences. Scholarships are awarded for the academic year. The Deadline for the HE Scholarship applications is in April of each year for the following Academic Year.
