Summary
The Bring Back the Trades Scholarship is dedicated to addressing the skilled trades shortage by providing $1,500 monthly scholarships to students enrolled in post-secondary skilled trades programs across the United States. Founded by a seasoned business owner, the initiative aims to raise awareness and reshape perceptions of trade careers, ensuring that students have the resources to succeed in vital roles that contribute to the nation's future.Overview
About Us I started this campaign as a small business owner with 30 years of experience in the trade of auto and marine upholstery, and over the years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the growing challenge of finding skilled workers. The shortage of vocational training in both public and private schools has made it increasingly difficult to fill these vital roles. At Bring Back the Trades, Inc., we are deeply passionate about reversing this trend. We are on a mission to ignite a movement that raises awareness of the incredible opportunities in the skilled trades. By partnering with local educators, community leaders, and trade businesses, we aim to reshape the perception of the trades within the educational system and highlight the immense value of these careers. Our commitment goes beyond raising awareness—we’re taking action. Through scholarships, we’re empowering students across the United States to pursue post-secondary education in a trade of their choice, ensuring they have the skills needed to thrive in a career that builds our nation’s future. Bring Back the Trades Scholarship Bring Back the Trades Inc. awards monthly scholarships during the school calendar year to students from across the United States who are attending post-secondary education in the Skilled Trades. Monthly scholarships of $1,500 are awarded each month and sent directly to the secondary school the award recipient is attending.Eligibility
