Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation Mission: To facilitate the development of education opportunities and programs through scholarship and grants, and to coordinate contributions to meet the community's needs. The Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the college and career plans of students in the Elk Grove Unified School District area.Scholarships are provided every year from the endowments and donations of community members, families, individuals, businesses, and community organizations. The scholarships that are generated and managed through the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation vary considerably in both amounts of award and criteria. The criteria are determined by the individual or group that establishes the scholarship. For instance, community involvement may be a criterion for some EGRSF scholarships, but not for others. Some are intended for students who enroll in four-year colleges; some are for students who plan to attend vocational schools. The EGRSF offers scholarships for individuals pursuing various careers including agriculture, nursing, education, auto mechanics, politics, and the arts, to name a few.
