BOOST Grant

The BOOST Grant, funded by the Georgia Department of Education, aims to enhance the educational experiences of 1.7 million students in Georgia's public schools. This program supports community organizations that provide evidence-based out-of-school time (OST) programming, addressing both academic and non-academic challenges. By promoting learning acceleration and well-being, BOOST strives to ensure students are prepared for life beyond the classroom, focusing on a whole child approach to education.

Building Opportunities for Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Grant Program
The BOOST (Building Opportunities in Out-of-School Time) Grant, in partnership with the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network, awards one-year funding to community organizations that operate comprehensive out-of-school time (OST) programming year-round, during the summer months, or after school during the academic year. These must be evidence-based programs that support student learning and address non-academic challenges.
Purpose
BOOST Grants are intended to support the learning acceleration, connectedness, and well-being of Georgia’s students, utilizing a whole child approach.
