IMA Foundation supports nonprofit organizations focused on creating economic stability and strengthening community resilience across the U.S. Funding Priorities Our funding is concentrated in three strategic areas and will have preference for underserved populations: Workforce Development We invest in post-secondary training, education that directly move individuals into middle-to-high-wage careers and self-sufficiency. Post-secondary education and training must be central to the mission of the organization. Focus: Programs offered by technical schools, community colleges, universities, or accredited institutions.Goal: Provide advanced training, certifications and vocational skills for high-demand careers. Financial Literacy We support organizations that enhance financial knowledge of individuals and families with a preference for underserved populations. Financial literacy must be central to the mission of the organization. Focus: Education on budgeting, saving, debt management, and understanding risk management.Goal: Measurable improvements in financial stability for low-to-moderate-income households. Emergency Preparedness & Response We fund efforts centered on natural disaster preparedness and long-term recovery. Disaster preparedness and recovery must be central to the mission of the organization. Focus: Building community capacity for mitigation, readiness, and sustained economic recovery from specific natural hazards (e.g., floods, wildfires).Exclusion: We do not fund general emergency response, food, or immediate shelter services. Eligible nonprofits must operate in communities where IMA has a meaningful presence. Average grant sizes are $5,000 to $20,000.Eligibility
