Mission & History ‍Vision: A world where children who have lost a parent are empowered to achieve their fullest potential, supported by a community of donors dedicated to their education and well-being. ‍Mission: The Bollinger Foundation provides financial support to children for their education and well-being, who have lost a parent or guardian, with a focus on families where the deceased or surviving parent or guardian has contributed to public or affordable housing, or community and economic development.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. The Bollinger Foundation provides financial assistance to children of any age who have: (1) lost a parent or legal guardian,(2) at least one parent or legal guardian who works or worked in the housing, community development, or economic development field, and (3) demonstrated financial need.The Foundation primarily provides funds for children’s education. This can include — but is not limited to — grants towards special educational needs, school materials, and college tuition. We have also awarded funds for counseling and other special needs.Grants are awarded in small dollar amounts, and in all events will not exceed $8,000 per grantee annually with a lifetime cap of $32,000.

To date, the Bollinger Foundation has not awarded grants outside of this priority area, and is unlikely to do so in the future.
